Un-public Saturday evening session on February 3rd 2018 at La Générale Nord-Est, avenue Parmentier, Paris XI, below/around and inspired by Michael Ghent's (Street Level Industries) 3D rendition, in cardboard found in the streets of Paris, of the famously accusing, political & documentary "Radeau de la Méduse", a monumental early 19th century painting by French romantic painter Théodore Géricault.
Michael's painstakingly produced & equally monumental and accusing cardboard 'Medusa raft' was at the center of "Dérive", a weeklong series of events at La Générale, from January 28th until February 4th.
This 49th unPublic includes sonic contributions by Michael Ghent (custom metal instruments & electronics), Lauren Rodz (copper wire, found bird call thingy [appeau à grives ou pies], harmonium reeds), Ali Najafimehri (daf), Yung-Wei Chen (voice), Rinus van Alebeek (dictaphones, things), Anthony Carcone (acoustic guitar, e-bow), Emmanuel Rébus (dictaphones, things, toy-electronics, melodica, toy piano, harp of found piano), Har$ (dictaphones, radio's, toy piano, harp of found piano)
The cover picture shows Michael Ghent's "Dérive" at La Générale.
